A Special Note of Sadness:  On the afternoon of Sunday April 15th, an unseen bird attacked the nest which resulted in the loss of both of the baby chicks. Phoebe is safe as she was seen and heard in the hours after the attack. The attack was automatically recorded and can be seen if you wish.  Fear not though, as you will not actually see the chicks attacked, nor hear them make any sound. You hear just the sounds of the attacking bird and the camera being jostled around. (the camera is very close to the nest and was struck during the attack.)
Video of the event. It begins to happen right away with the attacking bird arriving.
