JewelStock was a pair of private concerts that Jewel gave for the members of her mailing list back on July 18 & 19, 1996 in Bearsville NY, about a mile from Woodstock. Mad-Mission list member Dan Stark knew Patty and her manager well enough to ask her if she'd like to open for Jewel the first night. Patty had an open date that night, was in the northeastern US area and said yes! Then we had to get Jewel and her mother/manager Lenedra to agree. Dan sent them some of Patty's music, and about a week later at an organizational meeting with Lenedra, when I asked if they wanted Patty to open that night she gave an VERY enthusiastic YES ! :) Needless to say, Patty wowed the crowd.
